The Medical Assistant program is designed to prepare students to become skilled office subordinates who work closely with doctors, registered nurses and other office personnel delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during and after hospital stays, surgical procedures and doctor’s care.
The Medical Assistant is a 9-month medical assistant program designed to train students in basic medical assisting skills.

Total cost of the Medical Assistant program is $14,500.00 including registration fees, tuition and books & supplies.
Day Classes: 36 weeks long
Night Classes: 46 weeks long
Externship : 225 hours

Medical Assistant Program Requirements
Fortunately, only a few requirements are necessary to apply for a medical assistant program, including a high school diploma or GED. This Hybrid program requires individuals to provide proof of Connecticut Residency.
Pre-requisites
A few pre-requisites are necessary for entering an accredited medical assistant training program. Potential candidates must have a passing score of 14 on the Wonderlic Exam and a minimum technical and health standards requirement.
